RBS Film First for Saatchi & Saatchi

Ape media were invited by our friends Saatchi & Saatchi to film for the launch of RBS's Film First event at Hopetoun House Edinburgh. We went along to the stunning location of Hopetoun house for the outdoor RBS screening of J.J. Abrams and Steven Speilbergs fantastic new film Super8, 2,000+ RBS current account cutomers came along to watch a one off outdoor screening of this summers blockbuster Super 8. New page and video's up!

We have added a new video page to the site which we are very exited about. We will be adding to this as the days go by with past and present work, so keep your peepers open for new videos going up.

The first video to go up on our all new video page is a shoot that we did at the end of 2010. Snowsport scotland had asked ape to help out on there Edinburgh Invitational snow and ski event. The event took place in Edinburgh's Princess Street Gardens, Snowsport Scotland brought in a tone of snow and laid out a street rail set up. Invitations were sent out to Pro and AM's across the county to compete in the first ever Edinburgh Snowsport Scotland Invitational.   

As well as new video work we will be adding out-takes or behind the scenes footage from shoots, this is one of our favourite part's of producing video content, as it all ways gives a insight in to what we are trying to accomplish and sometimes capture the funniest moments on the shoots. This video is a behind the scenes at the Edinburgh Snowsports Scotland event, our presenter Scott Mcmorris had a few difficulties with some of the links.I hope you enjoy!

The re-launch of ape media boooya!

Hi and welcome to the re-launch of ape media, we are opening the champagne, and getting in the chicken dippers!

 Over the last while, we have been working hard to get the ape into shape. So what have we done you may be asking yourself? Well for a start you are reading it! Yes, we finally got round to sorting out a newsletter and you are receiving it loud and clear. The biggie is that we have re-designed the website bringing it into 2011. What's to expect?

To kick off we have a new showreel up and running, showing off work past and present, do check it out. For all you social networkers you can follow us on our newly designed twitter page, 'like' us on the facebook, join us on Linked in and check out new video posts on our youtube and vimeo channels. If all that's too much for you, just simply get your ass back on to the website regularly for all up dates.

But the fun does not stop there, oh no! The new site will be constantly updating on news and events in the production industry and general info.
